Francesco Contieri today manages the team that prepares, cuts, and serves carefully selected meat to its loyal customers. “We’ve been present in the Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio for 40 years, serving people whom we’ve literally seen grow from grandchildren to parents with their own kids. This is what it means to cultivate a relationship over the years, one based first and foremost on products that people like.”

Lanini offers wild game and various kinds of artisan preparations: from stuffed guinea fowl to pork loin stuffed in the most appetising and imaginative ways.

Italian meat with a particular focus on the geographic area of Val di Chiana. But its’ not just about the raw ingredients. In recent years Lanini has also invested in their shop, preserving the original 19th century structure while adding modern elements.
